Open Door Free Store

The Open Door Free Store is a cooperative effort of the Concord United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church of Concord and Saint Catherine LaBoure Catholic Church.  In addition, this program is supported by various community organizations as well as volunteers from these and other area churches.

 

Open Door Free Store is founded on the concept of Audacious Generosity.  This means that all people are respected and treated as valuable customers.  The community gives audaciously of their gently used and no longer needed items to help those in our community in needs of such items.  Volunteers are audaciously generous with their time as well, giving many hours to make sure we maintain a boutique atmosphere at the Open Door Free Store, sorting clothes and selecting those which are appropriate for our store, and welcoming and assisting customers.
