PERSONAL DISCIPLESHIP TOOLS

With the growth of the internet, there are many great discipleship tools that may be found online.  Here are links to some of our Pastor's favorites.

YouVersion is a must have app for any tablet or smartphone owning Christians.  It offers access to numerous translations of the Bible, countless devotionals, and to top it all off, numerous Bible reading plans.  I recommend trying the Reading God's Story:  One-Year Chronological Plan.  In addition, YouVersion is accessible from any device with a web browser - so no app is absolutely neccessary - though I recommend it.

Pray As You Go is a daily prayer website produced by the Jesuit Media Initiatives in the United Kingdom.  There are new prayers for each day with a combined Saturday/Sunday Prayer.  Each session combines music, scripture, prayer, and time for reflection.  I highly recommend this site.

Upper Room Ministries is a ministry of the United Methodist Church's General Board of Discipleship.  It publishes the Upper Room Daily Devotional, which the icon links to.  However, there is much more at this site if you wish to explore.
